Top 5 Sandbox-like Games in Brazil Q3 2022

The third quarter of 2022 saw significant activity in the sandbox-like games category in Brazil. According to Sensor Tower data, the top five games in this genre demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

Roblox experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $361K in early August before settling around $319K by the end of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at around 339K, dipping mid-quarter, and then rising again to approximately 317K. Active users grew from 15.3M to 16.8M over the quarter.

Craftsman: Building Craft saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 258K in late July before stabilizing around 194K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a mixed trend, peaking at around 2.8M in late July, then declining to roughly 2.2M by the end of September.

School Party Craft had an impressive rise in weekly downloads, starting from around 13K and skyrocketing to 354K by the end of August. However, downloads decreased to approximately 196K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, surging from 41K to 754K before ending the quarter at around 566K.

PK XD: Fun, friends & games showed stable revenue figures, hovering around $40K weekly. Downloads started strong at around 191K but saw a decline to approximately 172K by the end of the quarter. Active users also fluctuated, peaking at around 2M in early July before decreasing to around 1.8M by the close of September.

Minecraft Trial maintained consistent weekly revenue, averaging around $60K. Weekly downloads started at approximately 146K, peaking at 177K in mid-July, then dropping to about 107K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 1.8M to 1.9M throughout the period.
